Winter Berry

Since Winter is coming to an end I thought I might do one last blog post before I start pulling out the spring wardrobe. So I picked this off the shoulder dress from Charlotte Russe.Sweater dresses are a winter fashion stable as not only will they keep you warm on cold, frosty days but they and are dressy enough to wear to the office, or on a hot blind date!

Next, pair the off the shoulder dress with a killer pair of thigh high boots. You may want to opt for a classic, black leather pair of thigh high boots if your aim is to turn heads. If you’re looking to create a more understated look that’s appropriate for any occasion, simply opt for a suede thigh high boot. If in doubt, opt for gray or black suede boots that scream winter chic.

I took this stylish winter outfit to add a pop of gray by adding a dark makeup look by adding berry shade from the Kat Von D Metal eye shadow palette with Tom Ford Nicholas dark shade which has a creamy smooth touch to the lips.

One of the bonuses of opting for a classic, this sweater dress is that you can afford to be more adventurous with your makeup. Whereas if you wore a patterned dress, you’d want to opt for a more natural makeup look.
